...
He(Zhang Lu Ping) respected ancient Martial artists. He always thought it was so kind that they
passed their martial arts style on to us, it's really a treasure, so he could do research on it.
But he didn't just believe what ancient martial artists said. He thought that they had some truth, but they made mistakes too.
So he always focused on improving and scientifically proving different martial arts styles to make them better.
He was very open-minded to martial arts stuents to have their own ideas about Tai Chi and to ask questions. He thought students
who could only follow a master without creative minds of their own were not good students. He wanted every one of his students to be creative.
He believed that only learning one style was not enough, a real martial artist should be good in all different styles of martial arts and
combine the ideas of styles together. He was always so happy to meet new martial arts friends, and he liked to trade ideas and experiment
with them. They could talk from night untill dawn. It was his pleasure to introduce them to the bigger world
of Tai Chi.
